Hydration is Vital

Encourage your children to drink lots of water throughout the week before a practice or game. But remember that athletes should not over due it by drinking large amounts of water in a small amount of time. Consuming large amounts of water in short periods of time will not allow for proper absorption and ultimately cause an increase in rest room time, especially for the younger athletes.
